"Could I possibly be one of the sealed?"
If you're not sure, you're not.
i went to the meeting last night, (with the start of a beard) and going throught he book study i had a thought.
god our "heavenly father" wants us to have a personal relationship with him because he is love.
well my brain disconnected from this thinking because if the bible was "written primarily for the anointed" and the benefits in the bible can only be mine because of "association" with the anointed, then i can never have a personal relationship with god or jesus.
"Could I possibly be one of the sealed?"

i came across this concept a few days ago.. it is is the story of your life or some part of it told in just 6 words.. you can check it out here.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/six-word_memoirs.
thought it might be interesting to connect with life as a witness.. my thoughts:.
I was conceived to serve Jehovah.
had a strange thing happen the other day.
someone from ebay came round to collect.
they had to come onto the house a spend some considerable time chating.
ballistic, do not call lists still exist altho some elders resist putting people on them.
jw's now believe in the rapture.
notice this curious doctrinal change in the controversial july 15th, 2013 watchtower: .
one of the events mentioned in these verses is the gathering of the chosen ones.
"JW's now believe in The Rapture"
Not necessarily. They never said "rapture", and I don't think that's what they meant. The anointed MUST die, either naturally or unnaturally, to get to heaven, but no one knows exactly HOW they will die.
I think that they are downplaying the probable martyrdom of the anointed, so as not to upset the other sheep.
They are trying to get the other sheep to focus on their OWN salvation rather than be OVERLY concerned about what happens to the anointed.
did you get baptized without being dedicated?.
why did you allow men to come between you and jehovah?.
why were you serving jehovah at all?
punkofnice, I'm so busy laughing at the 'Jehu elders' quote that I'm having a hard time answering your questions.
I came here to better understand my overall faith. I'm not focused on the 'corporation'.
Although I dearly love Jehovah's earthly organization, it's just a stepping stone for me to get closer to Jehovah's heavenly organization.
My faith in Jehovah's earthly organization remains unchanged.
This thread has given me a lot to think about. It has really 'stretched' me. There's a lot of intelligent people on this forum. Mislead, but intelligent.

jgnat, not that my opinion of you should matter (who am I?), but you were not baptised as one of JW's, therefore your baptism was 'incomplete'. You need a 'do-over'.
I think your husband is closer to being a Christian than you are.

Satanus, no I don't burn incense for Jehovah. Burning incense for a god is a pagan practice.
But I do wish I could bathe myself in incense and kneel at Jehovah's feet; a sweet-smelling odor, an acceptable sacrifice. (Eph 5:2, 1 Pet 2:5)

Retro, what has the GB taught me that I couldn't have learned from the Bible?
Well, the first thing that comes to mind are the prophecies of Revelation: the great tribulation, the wild beasts, Babylon the Great, Har-Magedon, the millenium.
I would have never understood these things if the GB had not explained them to me.

"Your clueless"
OUTLAW, you don't have to be a genius to serve Jehovah. You just have to love Him.
did you get baptized without being dedicated?.
why did you allow men to come between you and jehovah?.

caliber, thanks for quoting those Watchtowers. That was interesting.
About Galatians 1:8,9; I think Paul was talking about this issue to the Galatians specifically, not to Christians 2000 years later.
